Kidz Control

So I am nearing the end of my wait until I will be in sunny Miami.  I can't wait.  I have been preparing for this trip for about 3months now.  I have worked out gone on a diet bought an all new wardrobe.  Miami better watch out when I get there

Kimora Lee Simmons has to be one of the greatest moms around.  She is in tune to her childrens needs and never seems to put them on the back burner.  While doing this she manages to look fabulous, write a book and manage her own company Baby Phat. 

Today proved to be wonderful.  Daylan was in a good mood all day.  We went out and went for our much anticipated walk.  It didnt last as long as normal because started to get to hot. 

We got back home and I jumped in the shower and here comes Daylan.  He pulled back my shower curtain and was playing with the water from the shower.  He is just so funny.

Once I jumped out I took on look at Daylan and just laughed his hair was all wet and my bathroom floor was soaked.

Note to self: Close bathroom door when taking a shower.

Today appears to be promising.  Daylan is in a wonderful mood, he is currently napping in his room. Thank you!!!  So I looked outside and it is really nice outside so when he wakes up we will be heading out for our walk.  I am so happy that it is cooling down. Hopefully he will wake up just as happy as he was when he went to sleep.

Why!!!! Why is that we care so much to see babies.  I am sorry to tell you that new babies really all look alike and 14million is just way to much.  There are kids that can't eat, there are homeless people yet someone can conjure up 14million for some pictures of some babies.  Crazy!!!!  Well at least they will be donating the money.

Ok so I have decided that I am so over listening to parents complain how McDonalds is making there kids fat and how tv is posioning there minds.  Come on people you are the parent which means you are responsible. You don't want your kids to be over weight you need to stop feeding them junk food and make them play outside and while your at it go out side and play with so they dont get kidnapped.  Parents just need be more involved and less set on doing there thing and letting the tv rasie there kids.

I personally dont turn the tv on in my house until my son goes to sleep.  While he is awake I am up playing with him and keeping him busy.  We go on walks and sometimes even short drives.

Now you might say I don't have time for that.  Well to be really honest I don't have anymore time then you.  I am a single mom who is active duty military and I am also in school full time becoming a teacher.  So please no excuses. 

So today I was all set to take my son out on a walk and this horrid Kansas weather stopped me dead in my tracks.  I look out the window and it is pouring down raining outside, so me and Daylan were forced to stay in the house were things just seemed to go further downhill.

Daylan was having a day from hell he wasn't happy with anything. I would give him a toy he would throw it down, I would pick him up he would cry, I put him down he would cry.  I just couldn't make him happy today.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.
